Mr. John Clayton Snyder,79, of Millers Creek passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at his home.
John was born on December 21, 1944 in Wilkes County to Jake C. Snyder and Maude Church Snyder.
John enjoyed working on old cars, going to the dragstrip. He also spent time hanging with his friends while playing pool, fishing and squirrel hunting.
John is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Randy Snyder, Danny Snyder; sister, Betty Triplett and brother-in-law Clyde Triplett.
John is survived by his wife of 52 years Linda Snyder of the home; daughter, Angela Snyder of the home; son, Kevin Snyder also of the home; two grandchildren, Matthew “Dillon” Mobley of Beaufort South Carolina, Corey Gibson of Asheville.
A private service will be held at a later date.
