Mark Allen Norris

            Mark Allen Norris, age 65, of Taylorsville, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at his home.

            Mark was born August 3, 1960, in Alexander County, the son of the late Howard Norris and Marie Tester Norris.

            Mark worked for Broyhill Furniture for 40 years. He was a hard worker and loved his horses, and a dedicated NASCAR fan. He dearly loved his family, friends, and his companion, Bella.

            Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Norris.

            Those left to cherish and honor Mark’s memories include: his wife, Karen Moser Norris of the home; his daughters, Angie Harrington (Isreal) of Taylorsville, Cassie Norris of Iron Station; his grandchildren, Sage Cook (Justin), Gracie Harrington, Skylar Harrington, Hallie Harrington, Jaddin Norris; his great-grandchild due in April, Cayson Cook; his sisters, Anita Jenkins, Rhonda Mitchell (Lee), Karen Stafford (Mark) all of Taylorsville; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

            The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2026, at Adams Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. James Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in the Liledoun Baptist Church Cemetery.
